While making our way home from Florida to Michigan we had had to exit the highway in South Carolina due to an accident.
Along our detour was "Horsefeathers Lane". As soon as we hit the dirt I was grinning imagining what a fun ride it would be in a Bronco.

I honestly think the times when I need to use the Bronco capability unexpectedly will be the best times.
Absolutely! It was at that exact moment that I knew the Bronco is worth the wait. It was a nice Zen-like moment... Although my anticipation is through the roof now!

Did you make motor noises and pretend to shift gears 20 times? I could see it...lol
No need... My 5yo in the back seat had that covered the entire trip 🙃

This is precisely the sentiment I used to respond to my wife when she asked, "why do we need all that?". I simply said, "rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it". Over the years, we've found ourselves in situations where the capabilities of our vehicle determined successful outcomes (or not!).

This is spot on, I tow a AWD CR-V behind my M/H, and we boondock a LOT! I can't count the number of times we have not explored a trail or rutted road due to vehicle limitations, how many potentially great adventures we missed because I didn't want to get stuck 50 miles from anywhere. The Bronco will correct that, with a winch and recovery gear. I will say that my CR-V has been so many places it was never intended to go. Maybe my wife can stop saying "We can't make that!!" and I won't have to answer "Here, hold my beer" :)

I imagine most Broncos will see flat, graded smooth, dirt roads, at worst.
