I was an active duty AF Ammo troop for a little over 22 years and just retired this past November. I spent my last 7 years doing explosives safety and punched because I found a state gig doing basically the same thing. Every time I start to miss it, I talk to my buddies who are still active and that sets me straight again. 😆

Once I had the state job locked in I ran to the nearest dealer and reserved/ordered a 2 door Shadow Black BD that should be built the week of 1/31/22. I don't plan on modifying it much because this is damn close to the ideal vehicle I would build if I had my druthers anyway. Besides, I have a '66 F-100 in the garage that needs my pocket book's attention way more anyway.

IYAAYAS!!! 💣

It's hard to compare someone's rate to yours accurately. Rates vary by state, coverage, options, history, etc. There's a big difference in being covered for the minimum or for what you may be sued for.

Living in Arkansas, I'm paying $525 every 6 months for 100/300/100 with rental/towing/glass for a 2DR BD.

The Bronco is cheaper than the 2017 RAV4 that my daughter is the primary on.
Thanks to all for sharing their experiences. Yes, rates vary greatly. I am getting slammed with four young drivers (16, 17, 19,21) and a driveway full of cars. Good times. Thanks for the info and it helps me plan for it. I am a 23JUL2020 res so I have some time to wait. Fly Navy!

10 years active duty Ammo, 3 years as a contract instructor at the schoolhouse then I went civil service to the 2W2 side. Now I’m a curriculum developer for Civil Engineering. But I still carry my AMMO koozie everyday!

My wife is active duty army...I thought the Bronco was off-limits for any discount? She also already has a Mach E and loves it! Well, I love it, too...darn thing is fast as heck and fun to drive...plus, no gas costs is huge right now.

Army and Air Force family. My wife and I met when I worked for MEPS at Ft. Jackson, SC. She was the smarter of the two of us and was therefore Airforce.

HER BRONCO, is a 202? Four door, cactus grey, Wildtrak, we have equipped is with every possible constraint possible. Hard top, yes! Factory hitch, yeppers! LUX package, couldn't live without it. Leather, of course. Sasquash, can't get a WT without it. Hoss package, working on it. I have been waiting over a year, not as long as some, longer then others. I just want my WIFE'S new Bronco before I have to register it as an HISTORICAL vehicle.;)

14 years in the Army.

Separated almost 5 years ago. Damn do I miss it a lot at times. Others I am very happy with my decision to leave.
I really do miss the life long friends. Some have gotten out, some are still in scattered to the wind, some have even passed. FB helps us stay connected, but its not the same.
