Reserve Navy Master at Arms (and prior Coastie). I’ll be spending the waiting period deployed.

Glad I popped on to this thread, I was not familiar with MAS. I had asked my local dealer with whom I am currently reserved and they advised they absolutely would NOT hold the vehicle until I am CONUS to accept delivery. They also won’t match pricing from Stephens. I called Stephens and he took my number but never got back to me on that question.

I’ll have to peruse all 12 pages of this thread to see if it has been covered how theMAS program handles reservation location in terms of where you are in the queue.

Isn't it fun to see yourself in your kids? My son recently got back from Afghanistan doing a tour for SOCOM, and couldn't tell me anything except the funny stuff. There are times when you know you raised them right.

Active Army, been in 12 years. I teach Army, Navy and Airforce how to shock themselves working on medical equipment. Spent a couple of years at a hospital fixing medical imaging stuff and nearly a decade at Ft Hood wearing a big silly patch with a horse head on it.

Not enough Velcro real estate for that stupid patch.

Army vet of 8 years. Engineer. Spent most my time jumping out of planes or riding around in Strykers. Reserved 2 door Badlands that should be seeing more trail time than my previous vics.

What's the guidance on wearing that patch over the pocket flap?
We all use to do it in the old UCP ACUs. The new ACUs don't have flap pockets so it's not a problem(not sure when you got out). I would assume it's still a thing on the IHWU, but I only wear it on my right side now

I was in the 965th and 966th from '88-'92 at KTIK. Crew dog.
Flew E-3s with the 963d from '99-01 before transferring to AFSOC to fly MC-130Es. Retired now, but still contracting. I'm planning on talking to the MAS guy when I head back OCONUS.
