Actual Dealer Stock?

Looks like a few Broncos are actually in dealer stock. Note- no tow hitches. This is a big Metro Detroit dealer, I am sure they would normally be ordered with the hitch (at least the 4dr).

The first two door is a Basesquatch.

Green window sticker = customer order.

Whether it is “abandoned” and now in dealer inventory is a separate issue, but Ford built what they thought was a customer order and may still be.

There is dealer stock being produced. I just read an article regarding the connected navigation (both trial and built-in). The article was by Laura Zielinski from Bronco Nation. Dealer stock will not come with any connected navigation (trial or built-in) for the remainder of MY'22. Dealers are supposed to credit the sale ($50 for trial/$695 for built-in) from MSRP. I guess the window stickers will still itemize the trial nav as part of the MID and HIGH packages.

They all have the Retail sticker. Was the window sticker green or blue...can't tell from the photo. If it's green--it's a special order, blue window sticker is built for dealer stock.

The Basesquatch was green, I didn't look at the others. When I go back I will ask. Usually their delivery vehicles are in a different spot, but I guess with so little inventory they move everything to the front so it look's like they have vehicles.

Plenty of dealers had their employees, family, friends, etc. reserve Broncos so it is possible they were ordered that way in order to have "dealer stock" of course this may or may not bite them in the ass due to name matching.

These are most likely just orders that came in and are waiting to be picked up or possibly a few will be ones that customers gave up on. I doubt they would have a bunch of 2 doors that are truly dealer stock.

What I wouldn't give to have access to all dealers STARS info and Bronco COVP system.

Not sure in this case retail being a retail order vs a fleet or commercial order. Not saying that bronco are being ordered as a fleet vehicle, but could just be part of processing. Fleet vehicles go one place, retail another. Just a thought, no real evidence or experience.

I do like the 2-doors, gives me a little hope. Talked to Varsity yesterday and they gave me the clearest answer they have to this point that I am in the upper 1/2 of their allocations, doesn't really mean much without knowing how many allocations they have but with any luck.

I doubt they would have a bunch of 2 doors that are truly dealer stock.

When Ford started building dealer stock, one of the many promises that they made was that dealers would only be able to order soft tops.

Of course, Ford promised a lot of things...

They were probably customer orders. I didn’t know they all came with retail stickers. I have had mine since last July and I have not been looking at them in lots since.
