I was all set to bend up a pair of rails myself but it turns out DIY kits are already out there for 07-18 Jeep JKs which seem to be the right length for a 2dr Bronco. For roughly 2 bills, I found 2 options I'm considering. I can't buy steel and give my time any value for that price. Stay tuned to see which I buy and how they look installed.

UPDATES:

March 19, 2022

Starting the rail project today.

There is a slight angle difference but it looks like an easy correction.

Noticed the bottom brackets and a pronounced lip which is clearly undesirable for something that needs to slide. Going to throw a bead on there to bevel it a bit.

Trimmed off 2" from the front in case I want to run mud flaps.

Need any fab help let me know. I’m fully equipped with tig 😉
Nice! I have a nice little Miller 252 at my disposal, but TIG would look good!

Finding pics of the 2dr Warriors installed is proving to be difficult so here's a 4dr version and 2dr and 4dr Poison Spyder.

I did that with my rubicon JK, worked great and so much cheaper than the options out there. I'm mooking for stock 2dr rails to do the same.

Yeah those look pretty slick. And if you’re going for durability, i highly recommend a tig weld 👌

Settled on the Poison Spyder set and ordered. It looks like Jeep oem sliders have a flat face vs our slight angle, so they will require some trimming to get the angle right.

Ugh the vendor I bought from just cancelled my order, no inventory. So reordered from another vendor, let's see if this one holds.
