they need to make flares with built in flaps that way you can remove both when offroading or cleaning.

The ram air hood looks great. Do you know what its weight is compared to stock? And is it functional to feed air to the filter?

I love the look of the Ram air hood.
I know things cost what they do, not trying to be that negative guy and hope it isn't taken that way.
But I expected the price to be a bit less than that, based on Fiberglass Aftermarket hoods I have bought in the past from Cervini, etc.

Not saying I won't get it one day. It's perfect and an outstanding look. Just not sure if that fits the budget anytime soon.

Despite my price comment, Very nice work on the hood, you guys did an outstanding job capturing a design that works well with the lines and doesn't look like a JC Whitney piece.
Then, you need to add LTL to the price. I don't even want to guess how much that will be these days.

Shipping for other hoods I've bought (not since all of the financial stuff going on started) started at an avg. of $150-175.
I don't even wanna think what it would be now.
And that's sad...I really would love to have that Ram Air one.
I got to thinking about the price...maybe it isn't as crazy as I initially reacted to.
Stuff just costs more these days.
Gotta pay to play.
