Seems like a big opening to scoop up dust, dirt, and water. This isn’t a race car.

Looks fine, but don’t see the need for a scoop… Unless it’s for ice cream.
Maybe it is like the Tacoma hood scoop. Just looks, no actual vent opening.

Or maybe the you look at any engine bay and see the huge openings in front of the vehicle for air to the radiator, no closure at the bottom, and realize dust coming through a hood scoop won't hurt anything.

Another thing to consider, AEV makes vented hood for jeeps. Their purpose is to help prevent heat buildup on the trail, where you have a hard working engine and low airflow.

All that to say, not a fan of the look, but others will love it

I have a feeling the only function of this is looks. Not expecting any mechanical function and that's fine.

you should show a view from the driver seat to see how much visibiltiy is left after putting that hood on looks tall
Unless your nose is in line with the steering wheel, you'll look right over it.

Can't scoop up much when you only go to the mall.

It's purely for looks. You could say the same about many things someone might think are pointless, but the owner likes them.

Sure, if it looked good. 😁

His opinion, my opinion. Pointless.

I like it! I think additional side or rear vents would help more heat escape...I have a similar hood on my EB but it is rear induction cowl (opening in the rear). this reminds me of that...anxious to see the other model installed they posted earlier.

Not for me but I appreciate the attention to detail matching the inlet to the grill.
