If Ford corporate determines your dealer sold your bronco from under you then you will get an emergency build with a PC of 1. This is the whole reason behind PC. A PC of 1 would get scheduled right away.

Contrary to the jaded nature of bronco6g, this is not common. Some dealerships (like people) are bad and thus can't be trusted.

Most dealerships would not do this as they would risk losing their allocations.

Update:
I took my lunch break to call Ford. I was on hold for over 50mins. Finally got a rep who was really nice and empathetic. Talked about how dealers are doing awful things and she's gets these type phone calls too often. She expedited my "complaint" to her manager but said I probably won't hear from them for a couple of days. She was not hopeful that anything can be done. Ford sent me a tweet asking me to message them directly which I just did. I'm calling the sales manager tomorrow and going to try and get ahold of the GM. After that I'm collecting all emails in a file and reaching out to all local news stations to see if anyone is interested in a story about how dealers are taking advantage of the chip shortage/pandemic.

And all I got was "Sorry". Over the course of all this I had reached out to the dealer and asked them to "99" my order when Ford gave us that option. I needed a vehicle ASAP. Then I got an email stating my bronco was in production. So I reached back out and asked what this was about. They told me my order never got 99'ed and asked if I still wanted it. I said if this means it's being built then YES I want the bronco. They said "we will call you when it's here". I'm on my honeymoon this week and got the email that it got delivered. Found some time to reach out to them and that's when they dropped the bomb.

They claimed it was still marked as "stock" and that's why it got sold. Funny thing is my buddy called the dealership to see if they were trying to sell it/mark it up after I told him it arrived. It was actually listed as inventory on their website but the salesman said sorry this is for a customer. So clearly something shady is going on here.

Any advice on how to handle this. They offered to order me a new one...how dense can they be? Sure let me give you more money after you screwed me over.

Also, curious to know if the dealer and Ford's systems are linked or not. Since I kept getting all the production progress emails from Ford and the pic the day it rolled off the assembly line. Seems they didn't think it was marked for "stock".

Edit: I've attached window sticker and dealer email. I also tweeted at Mike Levine but I don't have a twitter presence so if anyone could retweet or whatever to make sure it catches his eye I'd truly appreciate it.

it may have already been said, but this window sticker proves it was not a "stock" order. It clearly states "special order" on it which means it's a retail order. Stock window sticker would not say this and it would be a "Blue" color window sticker.

And This is the crap Ford is trying to force those who ordered from small dealers into.

I have been told that if the window sticker is green it is a customer order, and if it is blue it is dealer stock.

Blue stickers can be special orders as well.

Although all the blue stickers that I have seen don't say "SPECIAL ORDER" here is are a couple of examples that were special orders, but blue. One is mine and I know that I ordered it... LOL and the other is a first edition, and obviously must have been a special order, because all the FE's were ordered by reservation holders.

This almost happened to me I received the email saying pretty much I got 72 hours to respond or else They was going to sell my vehicle. Yes they already have my vehicle listed almost $20,000 higher in there web site. They call me almost 48 hours after sending the email. My Advice is to make contact with specialist and constantly talk to them and get everything email or text message form for proof of practice
