I have the Weathertech deflector and love it, there are no pics online of it yet. It mounts to the underside of the hood, and wraps around the edge floating above the windshield.

Probably 90% less bugs and rocks hitting the windshield since I installed it.

Random pic to show design style.

Quick test on hood flutter from hood deflector. It has noticeably more hood flutter, BUT no noise and way less bugs. There are still bugs on the top quarter of the windshield but almost non in my line of sight after 600+ miles of driving in Texas. I normally have to clean windshield every fill up. Now if I can't clean it, it's no big deal. I don't know about keeping rocks from chipping the windshield but it will protect the hood for sure.

extend the hood bumpers at the front edge of the engine bay. it tightened my hood up just right

The Ford one is made by Bushwhacker. It’s clearly printed on the instructions. The one that is actually a deflector that is..
The AVS branded ones are made by the same exact company. They are 100% identical even down to the sticker placement on the back. The Ford one is cheaper anyway.

That’s 75 to 85 on the Highway. Snow just floating behind the lip. Then watch the piece get sucked off the visor. Not sure what the visor and hood add to the air dam.

I did get a free aerodynamics test on the Highway home tonight. Had dry pavement with big semi scattered flakes coming down. Turned on all the ambers and watched how the snow floated up before it hit the hood and then went right over the visor. I didn’t have a single flake hit the window on the Highway tonight.

Yeah not sure about anything from AVS. The Ford Aeroskin II deflector is what I was referring to that is made by Bushwhacker.

I agree to the poster above, if you could take a picture that would be great. Also is the Weathertech badge easily removable?

You pull off the rubber seal off, screw it on using the existing holes, then just push the seal back on.

It flexs down a bit on the highway but haven't ever seen it flutter while driving. The only time I see it fluttering is when going trough the air dryer at the end of the carwash.

It actually improves the appearance of the front end IMO. Makes it look a bit more aggressive when looking at it from the front.

Wanted to wait till I washed it before taking pics, was completely coated with road salt

I just ordered the AERO II the other day and will see how it goes. Ford accessories has it 20% off until the end of year. There may be vendors right here though that offer the same deal which would be better.

Thank you for the pictures, this looks a lot more effective than the one in the picture that WeatherTech sent me:
