The AFC hood has been available for some time now, it's a beautiful design but we felt it needed the black-out treatment. One, for aesthetics and two; for function.
That's a large flat surface for the sun to glare on, so we’ve finally got the opportunity to get our rubbings and create our template.
One thing we did find, was both sides are not the same. This is common in hand-made molds.
Regardless, we felt our template is spot on. With that said, keep in mind these hoods may have slight variances.
In addition to the large hood bump overlay, we also felt it appropriate to add a vent inlay.
This will be included, unless optioned to purchase separately for those who do not want the full hood bump blackout.
Cut from 3M Deep Matte Black 2080 wrap vinyl, this will apply DRY. This is the same material we use to wrap vehicles with.
All pieces are cut to shape and pre-masked with AirMask transfer paper to allow conformability on curves.
While these kits are designed for the DIY'er, we always recommend a professional wrap installer if you're hesitant.
