After the Bronco, will you ever buy another NEW Ford?

After your Bronco, will you ever buy another Ford due to how Ford has handled/treated this fiasco?

Never got the whole "Ford guy, GM guy" etc. stuff. Still don't. Make something I like and I'll buy it, it's really that simple.

not sure your age but if you are young I can understand this, most cars/companies are pretty good nowadays especially with warranty. When I started out there was GM, Ford and Chrysler. Japanese cars were just starting out more or less as in just starting to be more plentiful. I do praise Japanese cars in regards that they forced the big 3 to build better cars or they would die out which benefited us all. I have owned foreign cars and they for the most part we’re excellent, boring in design and lame performance wise but good on gas and pretty reliable (and expensive to repair) Got a 72 Ford F-250 4x4 and that thing wouldn’t die, looked awesome and lasted forever. Every Ford I’ve owned has been awesome so I have become a Ford guy, stand by what I know and trust. Hope that answers in part that question
Cheers

Your survey is vague. Can you clarify if i'd buy another pre-1960 Ford product or just any other Ford product?

There are a few great decades for Ford products, it just so happens none of them happened after 1959.

I’m in the hell no camp. It isn’t necessarily just Ford though. I don’t think I will ever buy another new car from a manufacturer that uses traditional dealer networks. After the Bronco purchase, we have a lot of relatively new cars and won’t need to buy anything else for a while. By the time we do, I’m guessing there will be plenty of options to avoid these scumbag third party dealers. I expect I will likely buy more used Ford products in the future, but I will never put myself at the mercy of dealers for warranty work again.

Never bought a new Ford before I bought a used Escape for my daughter with high miles - was praying there wouldn’t be any major problems. There were never any major problems, just the usual break pads, tires, etc. Now, I’m getting a Bronco and my wife wants a Bronco Sport in a few years.

The Bronco is my first brand new vehicle but i've owned over 40 Ford and that won't change. Hell I just bought a 2012 F-250 this week, after selling an Explorer and Sport Trac the week before.

I won’t buy another new Ford from a dealer, but won’t pass up a great price to own another Mach 1.

When I started out there was GM, Ford and Chrysler.
I'm old enough to remember American Motors (AMC) as a separate company, before Chrysler bought it out.

And many of the brands now owned by the big companies started out as independent companies themselves.

Now, Ford is the only remaining true great American automobile manufacturer, Chrysler having sold out to the Italian company FIAT (now Stellantis), and General Motors having been effectively dissolved, and rebuilt by the government in a manner more in line with how things were done in the old Союз Советских Социалистических Республик than in any way appropriate in a free country such as the U.S. is supposed to be.

Buy a Ford, yes.

Buy a NEW Ford.... highly unlikely.

Daughter wrecked her car last week, will probably be picking up a used Escape for her.
