Never had beadlock wheels.

I assume that you can purchase aftermarket beadlock rings to attach to your stock 17" beadlock capable wheels. They would need to match up with the holes on the wheels. Are hole positions universal or do the rings need to be purchased specific to the wheels?

Anything I'm not considering?

Ford will offer true beadlock rings. If they mirror Raptor prices, it'll be about $1000 a set. They're kind of a gray area legally speaking, and not just any tire shop will mount them for you.

What if you wanted rings in neon green or purple, that would only be available in the aftermarket? Are the holes standard for 17" wheels or do they need to be custom made to align with the stock wheels?

You paint them. Ford should have different color choices (including unpainted), at least for beauty rings. Don't think they would have neons or anything crazy. But you can check out Raptor beauty rings for an idea. I think they have blue, red, and orange. Something like that.

Will anyone make a more affordable set? $1000 for 4 rings is stupid.

Anyone thinking about replacing the sasquatch OEM 12 bolt beadlocks beauty rings with more capable 24 bolt rings. The 12 bolt doesn't actually do much for airing down.

You cannot use the beauty rings as beadlock rings, they will not seal the tire to the rim. Go buy some true beadlock rings from Ford.

My suggestion to the OP is that if he doesn't understand how beadlocks work and what the functionality of them is, he most likely doesn't need them. If you just want them to be a different color, un-bolt your beauty rings, paint or powder coat them, and bolt them back on. Simple as that.

appreciate the info to both responders, was actually fishing for the former answer ... any idea where to find true beadlocks that Ford sells? Havent seen anything on the accessory site or any other info aftermarket solutions. My question stemmed from the screen shot below. i have an idea how beadlocks work, i air down to about 18psi on the trail, but hoping to get more grab from my wheels and an even lower psi, and add more function to the beadlocks than just "beauty"
