Hey guys, I've ordered a Wildtrak, but I really like the factory soft top. The Bestop is nice, but it has a slanted back (which I find ugly) and doesn't fold all the way down like the factory top does. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket version that is more close to the factory soft top? Sorry if this has been covered before but I haven't seen it.

We would all like to know that but Bestop and been totally silent as far as I know. It would be nice to know their plans coming up.

Why did Bestop think it was smart to only do a fastback option? What a fail

I am not a fan of the Bestop fastback but the top looks good fitment wise.

The rear windows on the Bestop are the most attractive part to me. Don't like that it doesn't fold down all the way.

But, them windows!

Hopefully Bestop makes a top with the boxed back, as their tops look and function great. My worry is that they cut some kind of deal with Ford that they wouldn't sell outside of Ford accessories for a certain amount if time...and would only sell the slant back through them. That slant back is almost worthless, being that it doesn't fold all the way back. I just need a nice cloth top that goes all the way back with flat back and flat windows.

You can always wait til I get my Bronco (well IF I do at this rate). I'll trade the factory soft top + cash for your MIC top 😁 😁

I'd take that deal but I do need the hard top for the winter months where I live.

Spin off question:

As a convertible virgin, once my soft top is needing replacement do you only purchase new materials/windows? I can't imagine you'd have to purchase a new frame. Thanks.

Reviving this thread to see if anyone has found other good soft tops?

Was thinking back to previous gen Wrangler with the ability to roll up the rear window. I know the zippers were questionable, but would love that on the Bronco.

Many different manufacturers make replacement cloths for Jeep soft tops. So it would probably be safe to assume that they eventually will for the Bronco. I had a 2002 Wrangler and replaced the fabric and windows back in 2009. I can't remember the exact price, but I know it was somewhere between $500-$800.

As for aftermarket soft tops, just take a look at what is offered for Jeeps. I don't see why all of those makers would skip the Bronco.
