OP, put some effort in, figure it out, add the poll.

52, 4 door
4 teenage kids that all want to drive this. I now realize that a 2-door would have made it less appealing to them.
Also, my wife insisted on 4 door because of two dogs. I know that makes no sense. She also thinks we cart kids around, which we haven't done in a few years.

I went along for the 4-door ride, but for the first time in a long time, I am thinking the 2-door would be even more awesome. -Maybe on my second one.

Also, I am buying and modifying this rig to satisfy some deep desire driven by the memory of my grandpa's Scout when I was about 8. The 2-door would probably get me closer to that experience.

I'm 51 going on 21, 2 door. It was a very hard decision because i want to load that bad boy up with camping gear. I just think the 2 door will be more fun to drive! I will have to load everything on the outside. That's where roof rack and bike rack will come into play.

So by the responses your getting, it sounds like your personal theory is debunked.
and…”You’ll Have That!”
Well I’ve always been the Rebel!
Never fit into one class or category!
Lol!

Here’s my personal reason why I wanted the 2door:

1. Looks almost identical in a modern way, to the original 66 to 77
2. But way more reliable and cool!!

3. I live in Norcal. And there’s a lot of mining switchback mule trails where I like to go gold panning.
so short wheelbase, in addition to that turn assist will be awesome!
Plus I like the shorter turning radius and higher hi-center!
and I’m basically probably going to get rid of the rear seat and just put a flat floor like my old Bronco.
So I’ll be just bringing myself, my best friend I’ve known since I was 5 and my wife sometimes if she doesn’t freak out being on the side of a cliff!!!

Why don't you create an actual poll so we can see the results at a glance??? This is not a poll.
I want reasons.
Short polls are To impersonal

i’m one of those people that need it other category or a paragraph to write on regular polls, because I hate that shit!!

42, four kids. Started 2DR, went 4DR, now back to a 2DR. My oldest two are adults, the younger two are in junior high and high school. I drove my Camaro for 6-7 years so sticking with the 2DR Bronco in the end really doesn't change much as far as how we get around. For camping excursions I've already resigned myself to the fact I'll need to build a small trailer to mount an RTT to and haul gear. I'm really not interested in scoring "overlander points" by having junk strapped to my truck 24/7/365.
Especially all the guys a drive around town with all that shit on their truck it’s still has armor all!!!! Lol!

I’m buying a 4 door, I’m 38 years old and have been a fan of 4 doors mostly since I was younger. My opinion is that:
A. I don’t have to move my seat to cram someone into the back. I have always enjoyed being able to comfortably drive around with my friends.
B. Two door vehicles should be mostly Sports cars.
C. After looking at both Jeep’s and Broncos in both 2 and 4 door models that the 4 door looks better. The two doors mostly look like they just sort of smashed the vehicle in.
D. Last but not least, when my family expands I will have more room for things.

No offense to all you two door lovers out there but these are just my opinions. Anyway I look forward to seeing both 2 and 4 door Broncos out there.
Cool!
Exactly what I’m trying to do, it’s just-an opinion folks don’t get hurt!
So Sensitive some people are.

started with a 2 dr then changed to 4dr, 56 and have dogs (large) much easier for them to get into and out of. Plus family and friends to ride with. Better space and retail

40 and 4 door. No wife or kids but cargo space and not wanting to make passengers do yoga to get in the back seat are my reasons for the 4 door.

Plus I kinda think the 2 doors look a little stumpy.
Thanks for your honesty!
Now I know it’s a generational thing.
Because you grew up with four doors do you think two-door looks stumpy
And I think four doors look too stretched!
Lol!

45, 4dr.

I just prefer the looks of the 4 door compared to the 2 door.

I'm my early 30s

Got the 2 door for multiple reasons. Size, no kids(ever), and don't want to give people rides.
Yeah, I’m kind of insensitive! 2doors means less people to haul around!
I have one best friend that I grew up with and there’s a reason for that!!!
