So we were supposed to given reasons as well!?!?
Let’s see... front doors are too small to get my fat ass and beer belly through. Nope, too thin for that one.

No kids allowed, so I don’t need extra space. No, that’s not true either.

No dogs... yeah that’s why I went 2 dr. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t see a poll

Also your assumptions are probably not widely true, the assumption that 2d is freedom and 4d is baggage.

I’m buying a 4-door. No children and early 30s.
My exact situation. 4dr, no kids, just the wife and I in our early 30s and our dog. 4dr gives us the long term flexibility and interior storage for our gear.

49 - 4 door. no kids. I like the extra space. I think they both (2 and 4 door) look equally awesome. Been a Jeep guy all my life. I have not even looked a Jeep since the Bronco was launched and I put in my reservation.

So I’m kind of curious, I’ve been reading this forum for, I don’t know, two or three months, and I’m really surprised there isn’t more 2-Door purchasers.
so I’m just wondering what AGE is of most people buying a
2 door and a 4 -door,
because I think it’s a generational thing now.

When I was a kid you were your father or grandfather if you were driving a four-door. same with my dad! Of course I grew up in a HotRod Family (30’-50’s Cars)
So I was always told that 2 doors is what you want.

Maybe I was brainwashed, or a product of my time, but I always thought the 2 Doors look way better than 4 doors
(as far as proportions and everything)
and all those extra posts and windows!
Especially the vehicle like a Bronco because of the short wheelbase. You have to jack up a four-door way higher in order to have the same clearance.

biggest thing for me is I have the mindset of

2-door Means Freedom
4-Door means Baggage

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that young folks nowadays wanna include their family on a lot of stuff, but I still think Guys need to have their OWN freedom sometimes, and “Girls”Too I guess!!!

So mostly this is just out of curiosity

I’m 52 and I love2doors
What did tou order and how old are you?
Thanks Rick

Two kids 12,10 that can climb in and out of the Bronco. I don't care, I'm sitting in the front seat.
This was a selfish "me" purchase. To me, a Bronco IS a 2dr.

I have crunched the numbers in this 8 page 'poll'. Written some python. Done some deep analytics with HAL and...

I have concluded that you can't draw any friken conclusions based on just # of doors and age of the poster.

It is almost like there are many other variables at play here that get in the way of us stereotyping future Bronco owners based on the number of doors on their Bronco order.

61, 2 dr
Kids are grown and out of the house
I have a 4 dr SUV right now and the back seats are folded down 99% of the time
Just me, my girlfriend and my dog
Won't remove the back seats from Bronco right away, if ever. Will just fold them down and try to level out the back

I've mostly owned four-door vehicles. But to me, the Bronco looks awesome as a two-door and just good as a four-door. So, our purchase decision is basically entirely on looks. 😄

We won't have back-seat passengers that much, so there's not really a practicality sacrifice.

50s certainly like the 2dr, and have zero kids around, but need the the 4 dr for space as I will need to travel thousand miles to get to the playgrounds and will need to haul a lot of gear with me to camp etc. If I was just driving around town or lived in the areas I plan to explore would certainly go with 2Dr
