Does anyone know if you need to upgrade to mid package to get AC? It’s only mentioned once adding mid package

My dealer was not able to give me an answer...

Thanks

yeah, although I recall reading it was included on all models, when you look at what Ford writes up in the build and price, it seems to require mid package.

although the base 360 dash seems to show an a/c button. I would guess it is included, but poorly worded

what the Mid package (and higher) gets you is dual zone climate control. So like in my scenario I can have the AC going at the lowest possible temp and my wife in the passenger side will have the heat on.

While my door is off and I'm in shorts and t-shirt, barefooted. Meanwhile, she's in a winter coat.

2 of the Wranglers I owned didn't have A/C. The only one that did I bought used and it already had it. Never used it. When it was hot enough to need A/C, I had the top down and the doors off.
I like that they let you order one without A/C.

Hmm, it seems strange that your dealer didn't give you an answer. I'd suggest you look up better. There are a lot of guides on the internet. At least you could find an option for change. I have to admit that I saw a lot of auto services that are bad at a/c. I don't know how it works because even my friend had problems with it and the auto service didn't help. The funniest thing is that he contacted this air conditioning company. When I heard it, I was laughing, but it helped him. I hope you will resolve your problem.

Just remember that the air conditioning is a constraint item and if you add it then you are pushed to MY54. The conditioning part is fine and in stock but the air Ford just can’t get in. It’s on the same level as the hard top.
