Alignment pin stuck in MIC HT

I thought this would be trivial to pull out with a multitool. I'll try some high quality needle nose pliers, but has anyone pulled one of these out? Not sure if I should be trying to rotate or bend it out...pull straight, etc. It put up a solid fight for today so I'll tackle it tomorrow.

Honestly, I'd take that to the dealer and let them deal with it. It's already given you a fight so I'd let them take the chance of scratching the top or busting the glass.

Even if they can’t get it out, if you leave it alone they can take a picture of it and send it to Ford and get authorization to replace the glass section

Can you push it in and maybe it falls into the top cavity?

I was able to get it out with minimal fuss today. I slid it around and eventually pushed it in so it went to the bottom of the glass. Then I found the area with the largest gap and pulled it out.
