I totally see where you are coming from with calling it primer.

My biggest reason for these two colors is that they aren't metallic. I like metallic paints and they have their place, but I don't want it on a vehicle I know I will probably bang up at some point. It just costs more to repair.

My original plan was to go with white to hide scratches and its pretty easy to color match, but I thought these colors were pretty unique so I would give one of them a shot.

Exactly my line of thinking. White was my first choice early on, but since then Area 51 has probably become my number 1. I love blue, and I love non-metallic colors, so.....

Currently my build is an OBX with CG and white top. If CG starts looking more greige/military/silver, I'll switch over to A51, but that's a little bluer than I'd like.

My Flex is Deep Impact Blue with a silver top, and I love that color combo, but I don't want to repeat anything like it on the Bronco.

How much would the availability of the white "marine vinyl" interior affect your EXTERIOR color choice?

Ive been between Area 51, OW and Race Red, envisioning the dark gray/black vinyl interior.

But if the marine white is available, then you start thinking about color combos and contemplating exterior colors that you wouldnt have otherwise thought it. I do, anyway.

Ill say it again, no way I will decide on exterior color until I know for sure what the interior is going to look like.

For me its not just the exterior color, its the combination of the exterior color WITH the interior color.

Im with you. The options now are cool, but nothing that gets me that excited. We need to push for the green. The green with the interior in your picture is exactly what I want. Jeep have a similar green and I was on the verge of getting it, but luckily the Bronco got announced!
