False. That may be the case at your specific dealership, but not across all Ford dealerships.Just found out I'm priority 19 sales manager says all bronco's are code 19 ,,true or false also now a March 22 built
Dealers can only code retail Bronco orders (“special orders”) with PCs 10-19 (unscheduled, but available to build in 21MY) or PC 99 (22MY Wait / “Do not build”). PC 30 is for a wholesale order (“dealer stock”), so is irrelevant to special orders.
Normally, for many other non-Bronco vehicles, a dealer can rank order customers within its own order bank to determine its preferred scheduling order based on importance (e.g, Big Spenders = PC 10, all others PCs 11-19), but Ford has overridden that normal process for Bronco, where reservation date & time (“timestamp”) determines priority within a specific dealer’s allocation.
Nevertheless, one person’s 8/31 timestamp at Dealer A may still get scheduled ahead of another person’s 7/31 timestamp at Dealer B, depending on each dealer’s allocation, build specs, and commodity constraints.
The only situation where timestamps are relevant is within each dealer’s own order bank. At your dealer, a 7/31 timestamp will get scheduled before an 8/31 timestamp, if commodities are available for both (“unscheduled-clean”).
For example, if you have the 7/31 timestamp, but your dealer codes you PC 19, and another person has the 8/31 timestamp, but your dealer codes them PC 10, the scheduling program will ignore the assigned priority codes, so your order with the earliest timestamp would still be scheduled before the other person’s, if your order is unscheduled-clean.
Normally that would be the case. Not with the Bronco. So he's right in general but wrong regarding the Bronco. My dealer indicated that lower PCs are pulled first - constraints notwithstanding.
false. my original order was 19, when I updated it last month it changed to 10.Just found out I'm priority 19 sales manager says all bronco's are code 19 ,,true or false also now a March 22 built
^^^ This. However, at this point it really doesn't matter. Option constraints, especially that damn MIC top, play a bigger part in building our Broncos. Then, thanks to the whiny ass mega dealers, you have to wait longer if you reserved at a small home town dealer. Most are 19. Some dealers do 10.
They are the same. Priority 10 is not going to get you a Bronco faster than priority 19.
The manager is probably right in that all Broncos at his dealership are 19.
I honestly don't know how true that is. I was a Priority 10. The only "deadly sin" i didn't have was MIC. Ordered end of June 2021 and was built 12/27.Most are 19. Some dealers do 10.
