With Tesla, Rivian, and GM getting in the game an electric F-150 was inevitable. I know it's a coincidence, but that's a smart way to revive the lightning name. It is stupid obvious in hindsight that ford would use it this way.

Revival of the lightning brand will make my current DD easier to sell. Too bad for my wallet that I'm obligated to give a certain cousin first dibs at a fair price.

Now if ford made a full size, but short turn radius electric bronco off of the lightning I would have a hard time saying no as my DD(the normal bronco would still get plenty of attention on weekends).

I excited to see it, Ford needs to get this thing right since the F-150 dominates the market. I think they will do a good job on it.

I actually wanted a Rivian and said my next vehicle would be an electric truck, until the Bronco came out. This weekend I actually made a mistake of driving a Tesla to see if it would be a great long distance commute car for a couple of years. It was the most impressive feeling of driving a vehicle I’ve ever had! Don’t do it! Let’s just say I did the math and realized both add up to a maxed out Rivian. So, I ordered one! It will get 20k miles a year on it.

My license plate frame on my Bronco will say “My other car is a Model 3”, and my Model 3 will say “My other car is a Bronco” I’m going to be hated no matter where I go.
