Question is what comes first the bronco or the ranger? We are talking about Ford here

Does anyone else see Explorer Sport Trac when they look at the photos of the new Ranger? I think this is a nice step in the right direction.
New competition coming within the Ford family!

But will it come with 35" tires and HOSS suspension? :ROFLMAO: I do like the boxier styling. I think Ford has enough problems cranking out the current style Broncos to consider a Gladiator rival. Making a better Ranger with beefier off road suspension options seems like the wiser near term option.

If the North American version offers some kind of Sasquatch level off-road package and a V6 it may very well grab my interest.

Looks good. Terrible engine choices. Failed diesel and a 2.0 gas? Hope the 2.7 and 2.3 offered in NA

Wildtrak with a sporty all Black interior, what a great idea, and along with big styling improvements, Australia Ford design & styling team wins!

Looks good-ish. I like the back end, the front is just ok. The dash is really nice except for that horrific sideways mounted tv they insist on putting in everything. Why cant I just save 5 grand and put in a sony Xplod radio from walmart? I swear one day I will wipe my ass and see a touchscreen wanting me to sync in the toilet bowl :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Overall ranger looks good, manual is a 6 speed not 7, bed step is nice, interior looks good. Hope it has a locker in the rear and a LSD in the front.

Everything that they're showing for the 2023 Ranger is why we bought a 2019 Ranger.

  • If you need to broadcast your manhood via the size of truck you drive, 5th Gen Ranger wasn't for you. 6th Gen lets the least-endowed farmer appear properly emasculated so he doesn't get made fun of by tech-industry co-workers.....
    • An extra 2" of width (it didn't need) and girthlength? A guy's never been so happy to have an extra 2" for just such an occasion
      • The same objects that didn't fit in 5th gen...... Also won't fit in 6th gen.
  • Ranger does NOT need to be the size of a 2-generations-ago-F150
  • Biggest problem with current-gen Ranger is tailgate height, they fixed that by making the entire vehicle larger for no reason. Wait, that didn't fix the tailgate height.
  • Same engine/trans combo. It's a great setup that didn't need a change. Bronco makes the best of the engine by pairing with MT.

Sure hope it comes in drywall off-white!

And here I was thinking Ford was finally going to kill the Wildtrak trim. Ranger looks good though, lots of improvements.
