For participating (hopefully all) dealerships will be provided with at least 1 Bronco Sport and 1 Bronco with accessories on them that cannot be sold for a specified period time for demo drives of the new produce...Mach E was the same

I work for ford, I know many things, I can see many things.

no one is sharing the reservation counts.

I see no reason that a factory worker would need to be brought in on that secret. They could know the annual capacity for the plant, thats something in the scope of their job depending what they do... but reservations? nope, they just build the orders as they get sequence, no ones telling them how many reservations are up front.

I was going to ask who actually believed that Facebook post until I got to your reply. Seemed pretty far fetched to think your average factory worker would be all in on the numbers of anything. What next? She'll have access to the financials as well? ?

What factory are they building Bronco's at? Just one plant? I still would like to know how many Ford thinks they can build at full capacity?

Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan the only plant The Bronco has ever been built at in the United States.

my guess is 33-40% pull through on the reservation to order/financing complete. Worst case 25-33%.

so 20 - 24k out of the 60,000

or 15-19k out of the 60,000.

That is still a solid 1st or second month...and I hope I am pessimistic.

I think most people are gonna want to look at one before pulling trigger. I'm glad to hear the Dealers might have one to pour over and make up my mind on what I am ordering.

I don't see them built in order of reservation....they will build so many of this trim and so many of that trim and all those will be this color that shift and the next color the next shift. Switching out the paint line for a color change is downtime they will want to limit. I doubt that have 10 paint lines to shoot all colors at the same time. They will not onsy twosy their way through the orders. Don't matter...I'm waiting...impatiently.

I had read somewhere, if the order was not placed within the window, the order was cancelled, not necessarily that the dealer got the vehicle. I'd imagine partly because there is no vehicle, it was never configured and ordered. And furthermore reservations dont count towards their allotment.

What is your source?

Plenty of dealers out there who will honor MSRP and Xplan.

My dealer said, by law we can not over charge you on a special order. If you don't have one reserved, GAME ON.

I just hope they do better on this bronco launch than they did with the explorer last year. Hopefully they have some lessons learned. This vehicle has taken long enough.
