So I have had my Bronco almost 3 weeks now and have put about 600 miles on it and love it. Just took the doors off today and it was so easy. Wish they would have given me the door bags though. Answers and a few pics over the last couple weeks.
Probably compare the size to the older larger explorer on inside room. So far biggest complaint is when I get out my knee hits the headlights switch and turn it from auto lamps to on but I am a big dude. I was pulled over once by police just to look at it.How’s the day to day driving? What vehicle (other than a wrangler) would you compare it to?
What’s been your biggest complaint so far?
Are you being harassed by strangers?
No mirror whistle, nobody has asked to ride yet. I got my own financing done so I paid with a check.1. Can you comment on the door jam paint? Or lack there of? Also if you give two shits about it as well.
2. Any mirror whistle?
3. any strangers want a ride? Have you obliged?
4. did you pay an ADM at point of sale?
In the process of building a padded rack in my garage to hold them. Already nervous my kids will knock them over.As someone that has had removable doors on their car for 20+ years if you’re going to stack your doors like that I’ve found that stacking inside to inside reduces the chance that they’ll scratch each other.
I love that Ford has bags since we can’t hang these.
That would be sweet. It only took me like 5 minutes to take doors off. 2 bolts each door and once you break loose you can unscrew with hand.I'm thinking the aftermarket will come up with a wall mounted bracket that allows the doors to be hung on the wall. Bags are nice though if you dont have the wall space.
LuxHigh or Lux?
It could be louder. I’m in my early 40s and grew up with sub in the back of my SUV.Nice. I’d love to hear about the stereo, roof off, at different speeds.
Getting about 360-380 on a 21 gallon tankNOICE ....... I'm getting an OBX as well, sometime, someday, if Ford stops moving my production date.
Hey, after 600 miles what, what's your avg MPG on those stock tires? have you kept track?
