I didn't want to get rid of my 03 T4R but had to make room in the driveway. Loved the Toyota, 232k miles and it never let me down. But the Bronco made it an easy decision and I don't regret moving on.

Probably the dumbest thing I have heard on here today…and that’s saying something. Lots of people LOVE the FJ. It always gets positive comments everywhere you go. People also love other Toyotas…FJ40s, Tacomas, 4Runners, Land Cruisers….lots of COOL Toyotas that almost everyone likes beyond the FJ.

I'm kind of in the same situation. Depends how much you really want a convertible I'd say... If you are getting another 2 door like the FJ that's kind of the main difference. I'm deff a little nervous about getting rid of my Tacoma with 50k on it, but I really want the removable top experience - always loved being in Wranglers but will never allow myself to buy Fiat Chrysler. I've always had pretty good luck with Ford's.

You obviously never owned a Toyota.

My FJ served the same role as my Bronco. An extra vehicle that is for play, but some of that play is pretty serious. I did some 5K mile round trips in the FJ and loved it's on and off road ability. It never found a place in my heart, and when it was time to go it was an easy decision to let it go.

I'm hoping the removable top of the Bronco is what makes it different while filling the same role. So far it has.
