I just want to make sure I am not missing anything here. But from what I have seen on available sheets and comparisons, the only thing missing from the badlands vs Sasquatch is the 35" wheels and tires.

Does that seem right or is there anything else missing?

Sasquatch suspension has a 10mm less travel to prevent rub from the bigger tires.

Or maybe stiff springs which also increase ride height? Contradictory info on some of this stuff from Ford...

But yeah, Badlands is more or less the same as a Sasquatch.

Sas has the 35s on wider bead-lock capable wheels, wider fender flares, and different final drive ratios.

You get the 4.70 gears on automatics. Not sure if some of the electronics trail trickery is tied to the automatics or the Squatch. And the high clearance flares.

Thanks for the feedback. Just anxiously waiting to configure and place the order officially.

I hear ya.

I've got a sheet with basically two identical builds that start off from different models.

There's going to be a lot of clicking and comparing once B&P lands to figure out what the sweet spot for configuration will be.

Sasquatch also has the wider fender flares.

Badlands W/Sasquatch is the only way (that we know of currently) to have the DISCO SASQUATCH, because if you're going to dance with the quatch, you watch your friken toes, he's a disco-loving fool!

(disco = sway bar disconnect and also a type of music vastly more preferable than country music)

I need to be schooled, spec sheet shows Track width of all models except Wildtrak as 65". Wildtrack 66.9". There have been posts indicating the Sas would also be 2" wider (66.9ish). So how is this extra track width accomplished, wider rear axle? front control arm? spacers (God forbid)? special hubs bearings? And remember track has nothing to do with wheel width, it's measured face to face on the lug flange.

It's measured by the center of the tire's tread width.

Edit: Adding a link to the U.S. government DOT PDF

Since they all use the same wheel, my guess would be backspacing

Thanks guys, this makes sense.

So, all wheels except Wildtrack and Sas have 0 offset and Wildtrac and Sas have about an inch. My deffinition would be correct on a 0 offset wheel, but nothing else.

It's a rude awakening to an old guy to be wrong all these years

It is based off of the tires which are different.
No what I meant was squatch...and wt which includes squatch all use the same wheel. 1 in less backspacing...boom done!
