These bolt right up to your Bronco using factory mounting points. They include an ODB II plug so there's no crazy wiring to do. (On the Bronco you just have to plug the module in and tap into 2 wires under the dash using the included wire taps, not to difficult at all).

The steps also have 2 lights per side that are included to illuminate the steps a bit.

Do you have the instructions or pics/videos Id like to see how they tap into the OBD II connector? Does that stop them from coming down when the doors are off or is there another switch for that?

They don't work with doors off... nothing to sense when the door opens.

Just ordered a set for my soon to be built 2dr Bronco Badlands! The same kit fits both 2-4dr models (Ranger too) you just have to trim the step length. Have had 2 sets previously with the current ones being installed on a 2012 Ram 2500. Only stuck down once and was due to heavy slush. Highly recommend the brand and also the lower step height when deployed for ease of entry.

The rock rails have to be removed. If you need rock rails and want an electric style step, then you would be best to look at a different version such as the ones from Rock Slide Engineering.
