There is nothing wrong with the free market here. No one deserves any luxury item.

Edit: and by luxury I mean something not needed, but wanted, not luxury vehicle.

I'm against people who bulk buy and flip these things, although it is a free market it's pretty annoying.

I'm all for someone buying and and throwing a ridiculous price on it to see if someone bites (while still driving it as usual of course). I can't afford a Raptor, but if I could I'd totally list it for $150k just in case some fool who doesn't need the money wants to buy it. Better than sitting in a showroom.

Wish I had that kind of disposable cash but even more glad I was able to pay MSRP. This is crazy town – $150,000 for an automatic transmission… uh…

Free market. Someone offers me damn near double sticker, Im handing my keys over immediately. One sold on Ebay for 133k last week I think. thats 50k profit (minus sales tax) probably walk away with 35k.

I dont know about yall, but an extra 35k in my bank account would be great.
The problem is these fucking assholes have no interest in them and see it solely as a quick flip. They didn't order one cuz they wanted it. They never wanted one. These people are bottom feeding piece of shit scumbags and have no place in society.

Nothing stays constant…. Meaning this market for vehicles will ultimately change and average people will quit trying to flip. Happened in early 2010-2013 mortgage debacle RE market. Some winners, they always tell you how well they did, and some losers, who don’t mention taking it in the shorts!!

Fed meets tomorrow and I m guessing 75-100 basis point increase on interest. They also meet again in Nov and Dec! Hang on, we re just starting to feel it.
It’s going to get nasty! I sincerely hope all you guys didn’t over leverage yourselves to buy a Bronco.
Personally, I can’t wait for the bottom to drop! I’ll get to go and buy the camper at cents on the dollar, from some poor SOB that had no business buying it in the first place.

I'm a bit conflicted. I'm all for capitalism but extreme arbitrage is slimy.

On the other hand, a fool and his money are easily parted, and anyone who can honestly spend $150,000 to $300,000 on a truck that's only valued at $85,000 truly isn't hurting for money.

We should give them the benefit of the doubt. Its not flipping, it's just that selling the raptors is currently the only way they can get rid of those fender flares.

Well, to each their own. I wouldn't have sold it, I would have kept it and then been buried in it! But that's just me I guess.
Could have kept it, beat it up for 50K miles and sold it at sticker.

My thinking 100%
Im not poor, I have a good paying job, but I’m nowhere near able to afford 180k car. I would love the chance to purchase a Bronco Raptor even at a small markup but no way in hell. I’d love to use that Bronco Raptor for is intended creation, but no way in hell lol. I can be mad and upset about the flippers, I can think they are being shady and shitty, but I can’t blame them.
curious if the raptors will always be a lottery or can everyone order a raptor who wants one here in a couple years?

The exact same pieces of shit that buy up game consoles, video cards, mother boards, etc. Pieces of shit. Assholes are probably buying up baby formula now.

I'm failing to see the negative here...many of us on this forum have taken ownership of a very high demand vehicle that still sells well above MSRP 2 model years into production.

I personally would take no less than $80k for my Badlands simply because I don't want to sell it but I'm not an idiot. Do I think I could get $80k? nope, but like I said I don't want to sell it anyways.
