True, but then it completely defeats the purpose of a MIC top. MIC means that it's the same color throughout and therefore scratches are less noticeable.

The black painted hard top would be the same issue.

I assume Bestop is the manufacturer of the 4-door soft top and hopefully if not all ready but soon FORD will loan them a 2-door Bronco so they can get started designing and testing a 2-door top.

It's no different than if they run out of steel bumpers. They're not going to send you one with the plastic bumper on it and then send a steel one later.

Well I wanted the mod hard top for my 2d badlands for the pop out windows. Oh well shit happens.

No big deal though I am sure aftermarket next year will have a better black hard top than factory anyway. I just wish the 2d had a soft top option as i would have gone that route while waiting for an aftermarket black hard top.

The email never stated the ability to buy it later for $1895. $1895 is likely the retail price when ordered with the vehicle - not retail price when ordered through the parts dept.

Well, I mod it out. It gets delivered. I don’t like the gray roof. I lose $100 and go to Jeep and get a Rubicon Gladiator.

Wrong. MIC “grey” top will be the only hardtop available. They only notified FE and WT people because the black painted top was standard on those models.

Are the side windows on the two door MIC hardtop removable or was that just on the modular top?
