Definitely a bummer of not being able to get painted black up front. We can suspect a supply chain issue because they are switching the WT and FE.

Bright side is at least it is still an option, just a bummer it is late availability. I had same issue with my 18" polished aluminum wheels on my '07 Mustang... sucked at the time but I totally forgot about it once I got the ride.

Now let's define late availability.

All tops are completely removable and should not be hard for anyone with at most a second person to help. Frustrations and changes suck. This year sucks. Atleast you can afford to reserve or even purchase a First Edition or Wildtrack. If you can also afford to vacation on Maui come by the Farmstand and will crack you a coconut and we can talk Bronco.

Finding it hard not to complain at this point. Disappointed.
Have to consider whether to get a squatched 2.7 badlands with the soft top now & hard top later, or scrap the idea, lease something then reconsider bronco in a couple years..

And even if you can see it on the outside, be thankful you have vision and a set of limbs to drive your Bronco.

I am confused....can someone clarify. At first, I thought this was only a color issue. But based on another post, it leads me to believe the Molded-In-Color top is also solid with no removable top panels or windows.

Is this accurate?

I wonder how this is going to work for early reservation holders who get a trim like OBX, and want the black mod top.

Is it...

1. We check the box to get a black mod top as an option, as a secondary top. We pay for the option upfront. Car gets delivered on time with a MIC top, and then Ford is obligated to send us the second mod top x months later as soon as its available?

or

2. We need to decide to take on-time delivery with the mic top, or later with the mod top. And if we chose to take now with the mic top, we need to chase down Ford on our own for 12+ months trying to get a black top with no priority whatsoever?

It makes a huge difference. Personally, i could see major problems and headaches if it's #2.

I reserved an Outer Banks and want the modular top, so I have the same concerns. The 4 door comes standard with a soft top. Hopefully, they would ship the modular as a DIO and build the vehicle with a soft top and swap it when the modular becomes available. That way, you'd still get your Bronco without the additional wait.

I did not know that they were using drums on the rear... Cheaper i guess? I was looking at them before the new Bronco dropped and i still get calls from the Toyota dealerships that i was working with. I want a solid midsize overlanding vehicle I can travel with.
