Another Area 51 vs. Cactus Grey Thread (Bronco SPORT)

Dropped by Scarff Ford in Kent, WA on a cloudy, rainy day to check out their 3 Bronco Sports on the lot to see these colors in-person. Area 51 was nice and yes, IMO Cactus Grey does have the slightest hint of green to it - hope this helps some of you make your decision a little easier!

Interesting...I have different opinions about these colors on the Bronco vs. Bronco Sport. I like A51 on the Bronco but not the sport. And I like CG on the Sport but not the Bronco. Not sure why.

Visited a dealer today with OBX CG sport w toast interior..no A51.. but the pics may help. Very cloudy but may be helpful to see how toast interior looks with CG.

Can anyone confirm if that Explorer in the background is Velocity Blue?

We need to stop these threads. I was all about CG until someone said it's just fighter jet gray with no blue/green hues. Then I saw the A51 overlander and that looked great with the MIC top.

Now A51 looks like a really bright teal and CG has the blue/green hues in these photos that I liked at least when viewed from my phone. The indecisiveness struggle is real.

I swear these colors do a 180 on full size vs sport. I hate the way A51 looks on sport but like full size and CG looks pretty good on sport but has been kinda meh to me lately just seeing it as a very plain gray on the full sized.

I don't think the Explorer comes (or came) in VB.

I understand that EOE laws require companies to hire the disabled.

But why did Ford hire every color blind person that they could find for advertising and the color coordination departments?

Both are great colors. I think CG looks better on the sport and Area 51 looks better on a larger 4 door Bronco.

I’ve seen cactus gray 3 times (2 sports, 1 ranger) and it definitely has green. It’s more noticeable in shade, but it’s there.
If you like the color in pictures, you’ll like it more in person.

I was thinking this as well. I think it is the MIC top. I think the grey top washes out the Cactus Grey

CG is definitely greenish.
