Another Bad Hard Top That Ford Dealership Refuses to Fix

So....this is the response I just got in my inbox moments ago from Fox Ford dealership:

"at this time,we are not going to replace top due to nothing more thanit is a molded roof and the slight ripples are normal by build"

Any advice on how to escalate this to someone who would actually recognize an issue and pay attention? Sadly, the Yugo had superior craftsmanship at a fraction of the cost - this is embarrassing.

File a complaint with the better business bureau of Michigan. Then tweet Ford Motor Co and Farley. That should gain their attention.

This is uncalled for, I am sure everyone here has paid good money for this legend. The quality control is not there. Period. Ford is putting band aids everywhere. In the long run loss of customers and profits. Period. Fix it right the 1st time.

Hey Ford how long will it take to build back the customer loyalty you are dumping down the drain? The op represents many customers. You should reach out to him and correct that defective top and apologize for the inconvenience and the frustration.

Every time I see a post like this I get a little bit closer to choosing a different vehicle. Spending nearly 70 grand on a truck that disintegrates within 6 months isn't exactly a solid investment.

Brand new & to a reservation holder....with 2 years prior to find the problems and make your new iconic debut better, it gets worse.

Is this "Ford Tough"? What happened to whatever your quote was, "if it's a Bronco, it better live up to the name..." not exactly...

With all of these issues, including the manual trans issue, I wouldn't blame anyone who is seeing this with remaining reservations just dumping them and buying from another brand at this point.

The tops are so offensive the headliner doesn't even want to stick to them. Check out the sweet PVC mod I did at 1200 miles so at least my boys can sit in the back until I get by the dealer.

Well . . . There's this that explains how the top can be improved, but you have to give up the open top option that the mid-panel provides!
