Ok..what am I missing? There is a demo bronco that is custom built out with basically thing you can't get like 37" tires, custom doors, raptor rear end, and some extra lift... and yet there are endless threads about people discussing this infamous lift that doesn't exist.

Where did the claim that there was even a 2" lift available come from?
Other than some mention about not being able to discuss future features which basically equates to "no comment".
You want to put your money where your mouth is?
Tell you what? I'll bet you $100 bucks that Ford does offer a warranty backed lift kit above and beyond what is included from the Factory. Then you can see what you're missing, beside your $100 bucks. 37's are off the table no way in hell the lawyers would allow Ford to spec with that.
I am a man of my word and I'll Zelle (or whatever you like) you if I end up being wrong. Will you?

Oh, I thought it looked pretty terrible, actually. Throws the proportions of the vehicle all out of whack. The driver there could be 4' 11" or 6' 3" and he'll still look 4' 11" when viewed from the outside.

You're going to need mandatory tow package to hang your XXL truck nuts so the girls know the correlation between tire size and manhood is not inverse.
Damn who hurt you dude

I'm glad you are confident... but I have no skin in the game since I have no interest in going beyond what comes with WT.

I was just pointing out that many folks are talking like this is actually an option and I was just wondering where they drew that conclusion.

I just found out something I didn't know... Wildtrack comes with the Modular Hard top to I'm even happier now :)

Understood.
Hope you dig the WT. That's what I thought I was going to reserve until I found out it couldn't be had with the sway bar disco. Bumped down to BL as a result.

I think this is simply a situation where Ford is testing a potential option and hasn't yet made a decision on whether or not to offer it. My gut tells me Ford WILL offer this as a dealer installed option just like Jeep does. It makes all the sense in the world for them to do so. For me personally, assuming Ford offers it, my buying decision will be based on how complete of a kit this ends up being. After three years with my JLUSport Wrangler, I've seen the advantages and limitations of 35s. (even on a 3" lift). My next off road rig will have 37s or larger.

5.3 Chevy LS with an NV4500 is what I’m running in my FJ40. It’s a great combination, but I wouldn’t want an NV4500 in the bronco
Yeah, it is a heavy duty tranny, and quick shifts are not its strong suit. Its an old-school truck transmission. I've driven 'em, and I like 'em, but perhaps not the best option for a modern Bronco. Your set-up sounds good though. In reality, the 5.3 LS is a truly great application for a mid-size 4x4. I had an FJ40... boy did it need a V8. The 258 inline 6 felt pretty good in the lighter CJ-7, but in the FJ40 it seemed under-powered.
