+5 well worth it.

check with your insurance company for a quote with and without... suspect the cost of the insurance will be lower on the lux vehicle. All other things being the same.

Another big thumbs-up ref the 360 Camera.

No need to go Lux to get it. The 360 Camera was part of our Badland's High Package.

I saved the money for the lux package by buying only two doors. Truth be told, I used to tell folks to ā€œ wear glovesā€ when they moaned about the lack of a heated steering wheel. Today, the heated steering wheel is my favorite part. Oh, the wireless charger is useless.
Iā€™m also man enough to admit I love the heated steering wheelā€¦

Iā€™m not ordering, Iā€™m looking at ā€˜23 Wildtraks on the lot. I see a $5100 difference between one with mid package vs. one with Lux, tow, sidesteps and modular bumper.

Gotcha. My post was just an FYI (for general consumption) that the 360 Camera was included as part of the High Pkg on our Badlands (not sure about other models). A number of previous posts gave the impression you have to have Lux to get the 360 camera.

You didn't ask for this opinion, but I'm going to give it anyway.... šŸ˜›

I have the Mid package, and the ONLY thing I sometimes wish I had from the Lux package is the 360 camera system. That said, do I think that 360 camera system is worth $5,100?? Nope.

I actually feel as though the old High package was the perfect equipment package for the Bronco, but... alas.... no longer exists.

If you drive a fair amount, then the Adaptive Cruise Control is worth it alone, especially once you enable stop and go cruise (not auto start/stop). I use it all the time, even on local roads... It is super easy to use and makes driving much better overall.

Now, you could, retrofit Adaptive Cruise Control for a lot less money, but that's a lot of work.

What isn't worth the money is the wireless charger (poorly implemented), the B&O sound system (lame), 3 years of Ford Navigation (it's okish), or the garage door opener (cheaply replicated). I find the heated steering wheel to be subpar, but I have not adjusted the temperature settings yet.

Now with regard to the sound system, if you even remotely like music, the MoBridge DSP is a great way to get a good sound system into the B&O equipped Bronco, but it's pricey. The MoBridge is how it should have come from the factory.

I absolutely love the lux package, but a 2023 high package has most of the goodies, has an easier and cheaper audio upgrade path, and could be retrofitted with Adaptive Cruise Control.

FWIW, I own a 2021 lux package and owned a 2023 high package Bronco. The 2023 was the best bang for the buck, but I never regretted getting the lux package on my 2021 which I still have. It was about a $3k difference between high and lux ($50/month over 60 months).

Definitely enjoying the Lux pkg. features. My wireless charger works great and does not tend to overheat the phone (as others here have reported). Here on the central coast I use the heated wheel frequently and the ACC (main reason I purchased Lux) works great. The B&O sound system is only adequate and after the recent OTA update - actually sounds worse! All said, I do like the features, however, IMO, the LUX pkg. is overpricedā€¦

Adaptive Cruise is mandatory on any car I buy.
Too many people refuse to drive a steady speed and I hate needing to constantly adjust to match them.

Especially if I'm in Minnesota, people will slow down for the gentlest bends in the road. Or slow down as they pass another car.

I'm actually pretty mad my Silverado doesn't have it because it has all the hardware, just disabled in software.

Worth it to me. The biggest thing I wanted was the 360 cameras and the garage door opener.

  • 360-degree camera - Well worth it and great for parallel parking
  • Premium sound deadening - Meh, not great but I have nothing to compare it to
  • Adaptive Cruise Control - Works great and I use it 80% of the time
  • 10-speaker B&O sound system - Decent, better after replacing the 4 corner speakers
  • Evasive Steering Assist - Haven't experienced this and God will never will
  • Front parking sensors - I use the front camera
  • Heated steering wheel - Works very well
  • SYNCĀ® 4 with Enhanced Voice Recognition - Meh
  • LED approach lamps and LED spotlights on mirrors - Meh
  • Smart charging USB-A/USB-C ports - Love the ports on the dash, wish they were data ports
  • Wired garage door opener - Linked to condo parking garage and works great
  • Wireless charging pad - Doesn't work great but is a nice option for passengers to use

This is for those who purchased and drove a Bronco with Lux package. Was it worth it? Do you find that you use the features frequently?

The reason I ask is that Iā€™ve been enjoying my Grangetober ā€˜22 Badlands 7mt, mid package. Itā€™s a four door w/o Sasquatch. But Iā€™m considering moving to a 2 door with Sasquatch. I see some new leftovers from ā€˜23 with and without lux.
yes well worth it

No regrets getting the lux package on my 2022 wild track two door.
