Howdy Y'all, I bought the Trailrax hood strut mount so I could mount an antenna to to the front of my Bronco. I just want the antenna for aesthetic reasons, I am not planning on hooking it up to an actual radio. Could someone give me some advice on what hardware I need to mount the antenna to the bracket?

Washer, nut, and bolt? Doesn't look car wash friendly...

That's very close to what you need.

The bracket came with mounting hardware. So that's all set.

The antenna is UHF female. Which is 5/8-24 I think. That screw is too big to fit through the bracket probably. So you need hardware to screw into the antenna and has a male threaded end that fits through the bracket.

Now just a washer and nut.

Any maybe run a fake wire too, to finish the look.

I'm guessing just a SO-239 connector based on that antenna? But that hole in the bracket looks too small to accommodate that. Unless you drill it out, use the SO-239 and then cap it with a washer and a nut.
