I've been using a BlackVue for almost 10 years now, hard wired it to a fuse box. IMHO it's the best camera around,

Escort just released its M2, which solves the issue of pairing with laser jammers. So you can now use radar, laser and their camera all at once which is very nice.

DOWNSIDE - as with all Escort products there's always a catch, it doesn't work with Escort Live, meaning you need a different app called Drive Smarter. That app works with the camera but not the radar detector (at least as far as I can tell) so you've gotta use 2 apps.

Corvette has it in their PDR (Performance Data Recorder). Works great!

Looking to get the bundle when they become available!

Sorry if this has been said or not. Don't have time to go through 5 pages of replies. I noticed at the Vegas Off Rodeo that the bronco i was in had a spot in the middle front of the dash near the windshield place to mount a camera, threaded hole. The trim i was in did not have power there, but my dealer's bronco has a Lux package and there was usb and I think the either the round power plug or regular 110 plug in the dash next to the mounting hole. I can't remember which as I wasn't super interested in that but thought it was neat. Don't know if that's helpful or not.

They also just launched an all in one MaxCam 360C... don't think the performance is quite as good as the Redline but it is an all in one solution.

It does not appear as though you can use the built-in 360 cameras at this point as a dash camera.

In the Bronco accessory catalog there are Ford dash cameras listed. They are the ones that you can already buy from ford for their other vehicles, which include integrated wiring harnesses for a clean plug-and-play install.

No idea how they intend to mount the rear camera considering the rear window is removable (and not always glass).

One could hope that an OTA update to Sync4 would enable the use of the 360 cameras for dash cam use... but I haven't heard of any plans for that (and you would have to solve the video storage issue... maybe with an attached USB drive of suitable speed.. but that's a pipe dream for me right now).

The breakdown of those are:

C - Front facing only
D - Front and Rear Facing
E - Front and Driver Facing
yup - this is the one I'll be getting (front and rear facing)

Look at the Garmin Tandem dash cam. I have one and I love it. It’s nice and small and has a rear facing camera as well. In parking mode it records both cameras with motion for security. There’s a kit garmin has that you can wire to get 12v with the ignition off that has a low battery cutoff built in. The app interface is really nice and allows you to save and edit videos directly to your phone.
