Does the lift interfere with the back cross/roll bar, or, can you scoot it back/fwd the 5" to load/unload?
TOTALLY interferes. They advise to lift and move the top backward 5 inches, and THEN use the lift, but (1) you risk scratching something and (2) at that point you might as well lift it all the way off and just set it on the “stand”.

Gotcha. Bummer. I sent a request to Lange Originals lift company today:

Hello,

It is in development, however there is no time frame for the release date currently...

Thank you and have a great day!

I pressed them further on the product release and roll bar interference:

"Yes there is interference with the roll bar behind the back seats that will not allow our current Hardtop Removal Tool to work on the new 2 Door Broncos without a little extra effort.
If you feel comfortable manually sliding your Hardtop back about 6 inches then the current Hardtop Removal Tool will work on your 2 Door Bronco.

We will be releasing a newly designed hardtop removal tool in the upcoming months that will work perfectly with your 2 Door Bronco 6th Gen."

How hard could it be to slide the top back 6 inches ?
Isn’t the main thing that one person could do it by themself

Not hard...but that opens up potential slide marks, damage, etc. I would rather wait for the right tool for the job. Big interference with the rear roll bar.

Glad I read this as I was going to order next week, and I have the 2 door. Only reason I am ordering is b/c of my bad back...having to slide it back defeats the purpose.

Wish I knew what their plan was for it....I really need a way to lift it.

I have the Toplift Pro for my Jeep (4 door) and it is super simple for one person to do. The most complicated thing about the Toplift was assembling it upon arrival.

Can I get a pic of what it looks like in your garage with your Bronco and Top Lift Pro holding your top?

Took this a while back. I currently have my middle panel strapped to the top of the clamshell, sitting on the Toplift Pro.

It works on a 2dr. If you're resourceful. I had one already that I used for my FJ40, and was determined to make it work on my 2dr. Bronco. You just need to remove all the bolts holding the hardtop on, then lift one side at a time by hand and stuff some cardboard boxes to space it up on each side until the Top Lift can go over the Bronco cross bar. Don't listen to people who have no clue.

can it be lowered while on the Toplift stand? Not sure that would even fit in may garage.… low ceilings. Might have to park it outside under a tarp or something.

Still waiting on the Toplift 2 door version To be developed

That is at its highest. It can be lowered, but you’ll have to be careful about overhanging your hood.

it looks like you have a big cardboard box in the center but you said prop up each side of the top with cardboard. What’s the center box for? Also whats it like putting the top back on, lowering it back down on cardboard boxes?

im not against doing this if it’s reasonable but spending $1k for the lift thats not the right fit is tough call. My garage ceilings too low for a hoist and this just seems much easier than a hoist anyway.
