I'm typically a buyer who keeps a vehicle for 10+ years and plan to do so with the Bronco, but I have found leasing (and then buying out the lease at lease-end) to be advantageous in multiple ways:
These benefits can help lower the risk of purchasing a vehicle even for long-term ownership at no/low additional cost if the rates/incentives make sense.
I imagine Ford isn't offering any attractive lease deals on Bronco, but what about other lenders/lease companies? Has anyone found anything worth looking at?
- Gap insurance included (not as important for Bronco right now given the high resale values, but always worth consideration)
- No out-of-pocket risk (if you negotiate a zero out-of-pocket lease)
- Leasing incentives (whether factory or banks/leasing companies) can be attractive
- No huge "sales tax hit" if you realize the vehicle is "not your cup of tea" and want to sell it early into ownership
These benefits can help lower the risk of purchasing a vehicle even for long-term ownership at no/low additional cost if the rates/incentives make sense.
