Looking and not seeing much...actually almost nothing. Just a long haul to the Pine Barrens

Depends on how far you want to drive. I loved riding in Worthington State Forest that borders PA in the Delaware Water Gap.

One of my favorite places to "get lost" - Crater Lake - accessible by off-road.

I’m in South Jersey , nothing here but the Pine Barrons which I hear can be iffy. Friends have done Rausch Creek offroad park in Pine Grove Pa which they say is good

Gotta second the Rausch Creek mention. Never went myself but local Jeep guys here in NY used to make the pilgrimage a few times a year.

Trans NJ trail. On my Bronco bucket list.
I've done the northern half a few times. It's a nice scenic drive and I enjoyed it, but not really much in terms of offroad....mostly asphalt and gravel roads. The only dirt and somewhat challenging terrain was on Brook Rd in the Flatbrook Fish and Wildlife Area in Sandyston.

I made a short little video of some of it from my dashcam

and (friend had a little trouble in one section in his Escape but no prob in my FJ)

Took my son and his Wrangler to Rausch Creek Pa 101 course hosted by Off Road Consulting Yesterday.
Did a lot of steep descents and climbs , deep water fording , cambers and a little rock climbing. Proved traction control with wheels off the ground and hill descent control.
Well worth it for a novice to learn what their vehicle is capable of and your own comfort zone.
We did things in his 2 door stock JL that I would have questioned before taking the course.
Well worth the money and a great experience
