Hi,

A friend of mine in Fresno, CA has an ‘84 Bronco II XLT. See pics. Frame is in good condition. 73,511 miles. Does not run.

She is looking to sell it and I figured I would reach out to the forum for a general range on what she should expect. Mostly so she knows that she isn’t being low-balled on any particular offer.

Any advice?

Thanks!

What engine? 2.8L V6 carburetor? Manual/Automatic trans? 2WD or 4x4? The front hubs don't have manual locks so either 2WD or it has auto locking but I don't recall manual locking.

I've owned 3 Bronco II and honestly they are my favorite vehicle ever....hopping maybe new Bronco will change that.

My most recent Bronco purchase was 5 years ago, it was good condition with almost no rust. It was an 87 manual trans 4x4, manual transfer case and manual locking hubs, and I paid $3,500 for it. I personally have a strong preference for the 2.9L EFI, but that didn't come out till 86 or 87.

Mileage is considered unknown on them because no telling if rolled over or not.

If it runs well, my best guess is about 2.5K to 3K with the right buyer if a 4x4....if a 2WD I suspect much less desirable and lower price. Without the right buyer it may be hard to sell. I sold my 89 for $200 around 2006.... but I couldn't wait for the right buyer.
