Any ideas on what GVWR will be on 4 door Badlands

According to a ford spec PDF I googled it is 1370 for 4-door. I think Jeep is around 1100 or so, and Land Rover is 1800. The land rover defender has air suspension so that is probably a big boost for it.

I Think Ford is gonna need too add some payload to sell any of those 200 accessories as most will hit the payload limit too fast.

I'm just crunching a few numbers here because I'm curious too and wondering if it will be an issue for my use case. Searching around I found some stated info and used that to calculate other info. Please correct me if my math or understanding isn't accurate.

taken from Ford:
max payload - 1370 4 door
max payload - 1170 2 door

taken from Ford:
2 door curb weight - 4319-5129 (2.3, manual, low options - 2.7, auto, high options)
4 door curb weight - 4499-5320 (2.3, manual, low options - 2.7, auto, high options)

calculated by me:
2 door Bronco weight can vary 810 lbs
4 door Bronco weight can vary 821 lbs

assumption and my calculation:
If the heaviest Bronco doesn't have a higher GVW (not likely due to bigger axles, gearing, etc.), then the payload capacity of the heaviest 2 door Bronco would be 349 lbs and 4 door Bronco would be 549 lbs

my research and calculating:
Payload Capacity = Gross Vehicle Weight - Curb Weight
Gross Vehicle Weight = Payload Capacity + Curb Weight
GVW calculated using the lightest 2 door Bronco (assuming it would have highest payload capacity):
1170+4319 = 5489

GVW calculated using the lightest 4 door Bronco (assuming it would have highest payload capacity):
1370+4499 = 5869

Towing Capacity = Gross Combined Vehicle Weight - Curb Weight
GCVW = towing capacity + curb weight
3500+5320 (picked the heaviest 4 door because they can all tow the same) = 8820

hitch weight should be 10-15% of trailer weight so I'll use 12% for this calculation:
3500x12% = 420 lbs (this needs to be taken off payload)

Since all Broncos have the capacity to tow with 420 lbs of hitch weight, then payload capacity must improve with different axles and gearing.

All this said I don't think a fully loaded Bronco is going to have much payload capacity once passengers, fuel, and accessories are added. This is especially true if towing.

Thoughts?

I think 4 door with curb of 5300 + payload of 1300...You're over 6000.

I think 4 door with curb of 5300 + payload of 1300...You're over 6000.
The question is if the 5300 curb will have a 1300+ payload or not. We won't know until Ford releases more specs.

I think if you’re going to be making any form of Overland/expedition build, you’re going to have to use aftermarket coils.
