Any info on 2022 constraints or options that might delay production?

7/14/20 10:30 AM reservation...

My 2-door build has been bumped to 2022 and re-entered, just looking at any last minute changes that might (further) delay my build.

In addition to my must-have options (2-door, trim level, big engine, etc) I'd also like to have:
  • Roof Rails
  • Modular Front Bumper
  • Paint Protection Film
All of the above could be added aftermarket, so I would absolutely just leave them off if they might cause delays, but would prefer to roll them into the original order otherwise...

Do we have any sense if certain options are going to cause an order to not get picked up? I'm hoping that my order still gets picked up as a 2022 model year but 2021 production...

People are kicking around "Constraints" lists that show 2 doors are going to be a major problem.

I am not going to repost it until someone confirms because the time period is not clear. But 2 door looks like it is gearing up to be the biggest constraint.

Paint protection was also a huge constraint on those lists.

That's similar to my order, so I'd be interested too. Basesquatch with the roof rails and modular front bumper. Granted, I just placed my order last week, so I'm way down the line, anyway,

That sucks... If I was willing to give up the 2-door hard top, could probably have already had my Bronco already...

But it sounds like I'll remove the film (and likely rails) just to ensure no additional issues.

If 2 door really is a constraint, it is entirely Ford-induced.

Judging by what is being built at the tail end of 2021 it looks like nothing is a constraint. I'm in the "order what you want and don't settle for less" camp
