Any MIC top leak issues in automatic car wash?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced leaks when running a 2-door MIC Bronco through an automatic car wash. I took it to the dealer recently to have the truck aligned any they hand washed it. I know they have an automatic wash ( I take my Fusion there as well) so was wondering if it was just a new car courtesy or if there is an issue with leaks in the top.

I have not taken it through an automated wash yet. When they hand washed it, I did not notice any leaks. I'm just wondering if they hand-washed it instead of automated because there is a known issue. I do get more wind noise from the passenger side than the driver's so thinking there may be a lack of insulation that could let water in from an automated power wash.

I've taken mine through two. No issues at all. 12/21 build 2 Door Badlands.

The new revised header seal and mic 2.0 were supposed to address this. I have only had mine for a day. I will report back if it leaks. I’ll be utilizing touch free automated in the winter months.

If you don’t care about swirling your paint in a auto wash why care if it gets wet on the inside. Hand wash it, problem solved. Don’t be lazy…
