Hey moderators and everyone else...i just wanted to see what people's thoughts were on asking for trim level specific forum sections? Since we are getting closer to order timeframe, i figured it may be useful to be able to discuss trim related subjects within a specific section rather than in the more generic bronco or tech sections? I know the bronco sport forum has this setup, but I'm not sure how successful it is.

I know there are trim-specific threads (i.e. Wildtrak thread, Big Bend thread, etc), but might not be a crazy idea.

Agreed, the trim threads just get buried in the other posts, so it would be a way to have them more accessible.

Ok, but there is so much overlap between the trims.
All the trims below Badlands have the same suspension, same chassis, 2 different engines and trans that are not trim specific.
What if you have a base model with squatch? Then where do you look?
Having topics by trim is something the folks with higher trims like because it makes them feel more important.
Way more hassle than its worth.
I realize Ford gave us 3000 trim levels but they're all essentially the same.

There is so much overlap and within a year of release and aftermarket parts it'll be hard to even know which was what trim when it left the factory. Right now though it'd be nice since interiors and options are still trim specific.

I wouldn't put it past Ford to change up the trim level names every couple years making it a pain in the but to have sub forums for all. Best bet is to Sticky the current trims being offered at the top of general Bronco section.

I don't think we should separate trims because they all share so much. What I'd lime to see is separate Features.. so for example, one for Sasquatch, one for Sync 4, Mid, Lux, TCase, etc. Basically any major option you can choose or not.

Then Have a different sub for all those "Wish upon a star" threads about what people want but Ford doesn't offer... would live to ignore that whole category :)

No.

Trims are little more than year/color/ seat material specific.

Far better to have forums dedicated to:
Bumpers/ Armor
Tires/Lift/Suspension
Recovery/ Winches
Powertrain /Emissions
Sound / Center Stack Toys
Electrical ( catch-all outside Powertrain and Sound / Center Stack Toys)
Paint/Body
Interior

I like this idea. I'm all over the map trying to decide and see opinions. This would help a lot! Great idea!
