I need no vehicle as of right now. However, is there any possibility at this time of finding one at the dealer for MSRP? They all seem to have markup.

I've seen reports on this site of people doing just that every once in a while.

It's a needle in a haystack. Dealers who do, the Bronco is sold within minutes.

Yeah at this point markups have kinda become the norm.

I personally got my bronco a little over 6 months ago with no markup, however I reserved/ordered it 6 months before then. Times are changing all throughout North America.

The order banks for a ‘22 are closed. Maybe the best move would be waiting until the ‘23 banks open up and see how you fair then? Granted if you do that you’d still be In for a wait after the fact.

Seems like most dealers are marking up anything that ends up on their lot. The more trustworthy dealers are doing MSRP on orders.

I went through this process last fall and have posted about my experience. You can find them at msrp (or you could in December) but they might not be exactly what you are looking for and they might be many thousands of miles away (depending on how far you search). It seems like it’s even more difficult now.

At the end of the day I ended up going back to one of the first dealers I contacted (2 months later) who initially wanted 5k over msrp and we met in the middle. I got the Bronco I wanted and they delivered it from many states away. I feel like that Bronco would be gone in a week today. Good luck with your search.

Probably not, but if you ask nicely, they might give you a courtesy reach around.

I posted a few weeks ago the dealer I use had 4 BB's they were selling at MRSP. I know one forum member made the trip and bought one.

Tne one local dealer , the biggest, that Did Not participate in the reveal reservation program is now advertising a half dozen on their lot. With enough money I could make a deal for all 6.

I was one of the lucky slobs that got mine from the lot for MSRP so it does happen but it's rare.

It's possible, but you really have to do your research and watch listings like a hawk. I bought mine off the lot on 4 March 2022. I'd found it on Autotrader a week earlier (the 4th was the first day I could get there to pick it up.) I'd searched almost daily and nationwide, but it worked out. Got what I wanted, at MSRP. Then had a great road trip home. You have to be patient, and diligent, and potentially flexible. But yes, it can be done.
