I did not know that about the app! Thank you. Just looked at it. I just couldn't find where you could add photos of receipts?
when you upload a service it will go through the steps to add it!

here is where you can see mine:

I always did oil changes on my 2014 JK at the stealership, since it was easy to crack the oil cooler housing by over-tightening the filter. My 2.7L Bronco is about to hit 6kmi and I want to do the first oil change. Rather than waste time with appointments and multi-hour waits at the dealer (or all day drop-offs), is there a reason I should not take it to a local oil change place and get it done in under an hour?

anyone qualified can do your work
and
find your inner elsa and "let it go "with the stealership we all over pay for convenience

I'm doing it myself so I'll have to dig into that more.

I haven't paid for an oil change in almost 20 years but might use the fordpass points for the first couple of oil changes then go back to DIY.

When I purchased my Bronco I pre-purchased my oil changes from the dealership for $295 for 10 synthetic blend oil changes with 5 tire rotation, one break in oil change and one every 5K miles. I don't trust the quick oil change places and with an appointment I was out by 9:30am with the tire rotation and "inspections". And they have a nice comfortable waiting area with free self serve coffee bar like a convenient store would have.

That's $29.50 per service for a five tire rotation of my 35s and unbolting the skid plates to change the oil with a synthetic blend oil, even if I don't use a couple of the oil changes, it'll be about $50 per visit and it's documented for warranty.

Be forewarned, stay the hell away from those quick-lub places.
I've heard of unbelievable horror stories over the years w/these places, from not tightening the drain plugs, over tightening and stripping the treads on them, using the wrong oil filter, not tightening it, using the wrong oil weight, and even putting in the wrong oil in entirely, like transmission oil believe it not.
The people they hire are not very skilled.
They tend to use the cheapest quality of oil filters.
They won't allow you to bring in your own oil/oil filter.
You're much better off staying w/a dealer, unless you do it yourself.

With the ground clearance of this truck, it should be very easy to DIY an oil change, and nobody will treat your Bronco better than yourself

I bring mine in as I have the points from buying it. Yea, it's a little inconvenient to drop off and pick up but not a huge deal. I'll do it myself once the points run out.

I've been changing oil for 45 years so it's not a huge deal, LOL.
What do you do with the old oil? I may do the same

Save it in a 5 gallon Home Depot pail and dump it at our local dumps recycling center when it’s full.

So when I bought my Bronco, the dealership offered free services for life at no extra cost. So even though it is aggravating to take it there, it's no money out of my pocket.

Dealership (with coupon) was cheaper all in than Big O (with coupon).

Plus I used my Ford Pass points.

YMMV

Our local dealer is offering to come pick up the vehicle and drop it back off when it's done.
Like I'd let them drive my car. I had to drive it out of the back lot of the dealership when I bought it because the sales drone didn't know how to drive a stick.

Where I live, any place that sells oil also has a collection tank for used oil. O’Reilly or Autozone just lets you walk into the back of the store to dump it in the tank.
