I’ve never had a multi hour wait at a dealership for an oil change with an appointment and I live in Atlanta.

Yes, the dealership is the best to do your oil change for several reasons, including the fact that they do more than just change the oil and filter.

Other option as Guys have stated, do it yourself since it’s easy to get under a Bronco and it’s just easy.

Wanted a “tough guy“ truck, so now do some tough guy stuff; although it’s not really and doesn’t even have to be messy. Then, you can also use God’s car nectar known as full synthetic AMSOIL! 🥰

The oil change place uses recycled conventional garbage that I wouldn’t put in anything other than a 2002 Civic.
oil change places don't use recycled. they use bulk oil for their lowest price changes ,you can upgrade for additional cost. the lube tech at the dealer just like the lube tech you get at a quickie lube . go to a real shop and have a real technician service your Bronco . ( notice I didn't say oil change ?) there are lots of very good oils to choose from . just stick to one brand . (I prefer Liqui Moly products) Amsoil will tell you, that you never have to change their product ! see what that will do for your warranty change your oil every 5000 miles with a quality oil of your choice

why ? doing oil changes ,not at the dealer will not void your warranty ! you just need to keep records and receipts ....
Keeping records and receipts is certainly an option.

But I don't want to bother keeping records and receipts (I have enough stuff to track), and if something goes wrong with the engine I would rather not have to gather two or three years of records and receipts to prove I did my part.

Moreover, the only small, independent garage I trust is about 330 miles from my main house. And I don't do oil change franchises. So I can wait for bringing my car for service at that garage after my warranty has expired.

The only other option for the oil change is yours truly. But I no longer change my own oil. I used to do it when I was younger. But now, at this stage in my life, the money saved is not worth my time, the mess, and the oil disposal.

Some people like working on their cars, even if it is just an oil change. That's fine for them, but I don't get kicks by going under the hood; instead, I get my kicks by driving the Bronco. (I have other hobbies that provide a fix for my tinkering habit).

Best,
DK

What do you do with the old oil? I may do the same
Many auto parts stores take it free as long as it’s in a adequate container

Priority, no ADM and ”free” oil changes for life.
