Any way to reduce turbo lag without exceeding torque?

I am not seeing much lag when passing, maybe 0.5-1 sec.
A pedal commander sounds cool though, that wouldn't void the warranty right?

I don't find that there is turbo lag, I find that the throttle pedal travel is not linear. No matter how hard you try to be smooth on acceleration, you can't be because you can't feel where the engagement point is. That's much more annoying.
