Has anyone gotten a confirmation of their order? Something like this:

This is what I am waiting for, check my email and Ford.ca site for something, hope it comes through soon.

My Dealer hasn't entered my order yet, but we switched the reservation over to order when we talked...
I'll go back in and run thru the build with him.
MSRP, we're waiting to hear about X-plan and how much he'll rip me off on my trade-in.

I pre ordered my 2021 Bronco Outer Banks on Jan 11th,2021 from Rose City Ford in Windsor,Ontario. I think There was a window for them to send the orders to Fords. The dealer told me they'll be sending me a vin# in March to track the progress. Hope this info was helpful.

myford appears to have updated my build from a “reservation” to an “order” today!
Although it’s odd that it shows the order I placed three weeks ago as yesterday’s date? Oh well

I got my VIN from my dealer. My account shows no updates. Silly me kept checking the website when my dealer had the info for a few weeks. But, I get that Canada is "different".

Has anyone heard feedback from Ford Canada as to how they have handled this roll out? With all the Canadian content in the Bronco, one would think they would be way more on top of this.

From what I gather, Ford is communicating directly with customers in the USA but less so with Canadian rez holders. When I access my ford.ca account I can see my reservation and order but there is no VIN number and the picture on my order is a badlands but I ordered a Wildtrak. Second, the folks I have communicate with who have VIN numbers in Canada got them from their dealer. The Canadian and USA ford customer websites are obviously not connected. I am happy to pester my dealer to get info. I have a 2018 F150 on lease extension and I know they want me to trade it in when the Bronco arrives so perhaps they are more patient with my barrage of questions.

^^ Accurate.

I spoke to my “Bronco Specialist” at my local dealership yesterday for an update. Nothing on my order, however I did inquire how many reservations have converted to a build schedule/VIN. He said all of his 2.3L’s have build schedules/VIN’s and a handful of his 2.7L orders. I mentioned I was toying with changing to a 2.3L after that comment, and he told me not to and leave my order alone (maybe he didn’t want the extra work lol j/k). Since some 2.7L’s have been scheduling, he’s right… Just wait it out! I also assume a bunch of those 2.3L’s have various constraint parts too, like MIC tops and such.

My biggest piss off is that we are missing out on content that is offered to the Americans. Including obviously the contact with Ford Canada. It angers me more knowing that even after conversion from USD to CAD we are paying a 2-3 grand premium cost wise.

I think in the event my bronco delivery happens early as forecasted (early July) I'll bring it around the province to a couple local car show/cruise nights between Toronto - Ottawa - Niagara.

We don't appear to be getting the demo events by Ford, and who knows about the "mannequins broncos" that are supposedly being delivered for test drives?

I would be game for coordinating with a couple other owners with early builds for the purpose of letting other people (especially those with 2022MY orders) see my rig!

Thoughts?

Obviously this will hinge on an early deliver and not more bad news from Ford?

Yeah, I’d be down for that - If you could setup in Vancouver, that’d be appreciated LOL.

Although I’d love some direct communication from Ford Canada, I am slightly ok with not getting the emails the USA folks are. They’re sitting at their computers Thursday morning, all day, waiting for this prized email. Since it’s up to dealerships to contact us, it can be any day of the week, so I’m not freaking out on Thursdays. I follow up once every couple weeks as well, to see if something was missed, but other than that I’ll keep doing that until I get my VIN.
