I have had this on mine for a week and I’m taking it off to go back to stock.

It has a horrible drone and It makes the bronco sound like a Honda Civic that needs a muffler replacement.

Im thinking the Bronco “is what it is” a 2.7 liter twin turbo that performs well but sounds like 💩.

I see a lot of people commenting about waiting for borla. Perhaps, but I don’t think I would risk spending $1000+ with the expectation of a miracle.

Back to the huge stock muffler for me. Hopefully, it’s not a huge PITA to reinstall.
Same here. Hang the driver's side, wiggle the exhaust together, then hang the other side.

Grease the pins before putting them thru the rubber hangars.

Flowmaster is great for 1974 Camaros, otherwise there are better choices unless you love drone. Stock is probably the way to go on the 2.7L.

Yes, @MRTperformance Trail Rated Turndown.
10/10 for daily use IMO. Will get another for Bronco #2 if i don’t swap the one I have.

there are also a handful of others brands to choose from, the search bar is your friend!
I installed the same MRT Trail Rated. Very nice quality, fair price easy install. 1 nut and 2 rubber hangers. It took about a half hr.

Put Flowmaster Outlaw catback on today. It's not a V8! Sounds much better than it did, and only $349.
How difficult/much time did it take you to install? Is it all bolt on (taking the factory Orr and flow master on?) I haven’t purchased the same exhaust you purchased due to not knowing if it is bolt on or not and also not wanting to pay a shop $500+ for install

I also did the MRT axle back and it is great, perfect amount of throatiness and cabin noise is good. Let's you know it is there, especially nice addition with my manual transmission. I didnt want too much meat head noise. So easy to install and investing in a pair of $17 hangar pliers was a no brainer. It's nice that it is a third of the size of the factory muffler as well.

Took an hour and a half. Didn't need anything other than what was supplied as far as parts. Welding of slip joints is optional. Might do that later, but supplied band clamps provided a good, tight fit. Did it in my driveway. Didn't need lift or jack with Sasquatch clearance.

**Edit** WD 40 to slip hangars and loosen flange nuts that King Kong put on with an impact wrench.

Installed FlowMaster Hooker axle-back exhaust with black tips. Sounds and looks mean. I bit too mean for me so I am selling them. $329

Was it just as easy to remove the factory exhaust ?

Factory flange bolts sucked! A little harder to snake pipe over rear axle, but still easy.

Thanks for the detail. Looking to possibly install the Flowmaster FlowFX. Not sure if I'm going Cat back or Axle back, but functionally don't see much of a difference. Any thoughts?

Installed the Roush axel back exhaust (muffler). It sounds OK and we'll see after it breaks in some.

Random review: Some dude in a Lowe's parking lot commented and said it sounded good. I haven't yet heard it from outside of the cabin.

Put the Roush axle back exhaust on today. I don’t understand why every single video on YouTube including lethal performance said to take the rear bumper off?!? With the right tools this full instal took 20mins on my back in my driveway. Had car on my lift and my k5 in the shop so I did it on ground.

10mm on 1/4 to sneak in the bumper. You just need to loosen the bolts because the bracket slides out. Very easy with the right tools. No need to pull the bumper… or even the spare like lethal performance did when they forgot you could just open the tailgate to get the spare out of the way.
