Anybody else have this problem when you remove the Mic top? How do I fix this?

With every removal and install these scratches get bigger near the top bolts. Afraid they are going to rust at some point. Not sure what I need to do.

Step 1 touch up paint

Step 2 depends on your preference, either the 3M tape they use to protect roll bar from scratches by the softtop mechanism or camper tape.

Camper tape is thicker but also seals up irregularities and might help with rattles, etc.

With only a softtop whose removal is by 3 bolts per side on the side behind panels I wonder why the hardtop install points were not the same making for ease in swapping. If I ever am able to order a hardtop from Ford, MIC or painted
